The real middle class
This is not the first time and will not be the last article on this topic, so it cannot hurt another. My name is Emily and I now owe $ 126,000 in student loan debt. I tried to think of various things that I could do so that I wouldn't face a stressful situation, at the age of twenty-six, I was able to work in college more to pay more interest. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. My father works in a second factory in the iron factory, and my mother returns to school to become a nurse. Unfortunately not long after my arm was broken in babysitter care, I felt guilty and decided instead a few years later, my father was laid off. We sold our house and moved with Middle Class Scholarship my grandfather. My mom started working as a secretary in the pediatrician’s office and my father found a job as a bus driver in the city. This is the greatest blessing my family has ever received. My father, who never went to college, is now part of a trade union and earns at least more money than my family. In the past few years we have managed to save the house and get out of my grandparents. The rest of my childhood was completely normal and we were mostly a happy general family. We had a great time We had a hard time and my family for many years have become stronger.
It is time for my family to enter the age of life we know in college. My brother initially wanted to become a high school mathematics teacher. My mother started working for the second time as a business leader. She thinks that if you do that, we'll do it too. Then I started deciding to go to University of Pittsburgh and be close to my family. What I did not know at the time was that this university was the most expensive public university in the country! My brother helped me to apply for financial help. But I've never received enough money the government thinks my middle-class family is doing a lot, so I have to use a personal loan of $ 70,000 with a crazy interest of 9.5%, but I graduated in May 2011 with a Bachelor's degree. In Information Technology and the GPA is 3.85
My brother, my mother and my friends are still continuing their studies at the graduate level. To live up to what I believe is the expectation of others. I decided to follow in their footsteps. I want to help talk to others and make a difference in my daily work. I decided that education would be the best way to do this while continuing to use my experience in the IT field. While pursuing an MBA since graduation, I mainly worked in the IT field trying to repay my loan. It's been three years now and I haven't seen my debts drop by more than a thousand dollars. In addition, my girlfriend, the maid of the country, was transferred to San Diego this year. I cannot say it is a bad place to live with bright weather and palm trees. But I can say it is an expensive place. The rent amount has almost tripled from Pittsburgh, and the work I'm finding now pays less. Now, I work for training at a non-profit university for information technology. For all the reasons that prompted me to education as a graduate student, I especially loved this job. Now I am here: I live in a perfect city with my perfect boyfriend and her ideal job.
However, student loans seem to have completely cut things out of one sentence. My ideal girlfriend and I want to get married. But cant do that we want to buy a house in this perfect city. But you can't buy. I want to do my ideal job. But I can't do that. It's funny, right? In my current job, I was able to pay the minimum amount of student loans with nothing left to save anything else. I am 36 years old and my friend is 43 years old, I can only hope at this time in my life, and my father is still alive for me to walk along my physical path. It cannot be refused to have children and the housing market. There are few things about President Obama's debt to middle-class students as a middle-class citizen. I have somehow gained a lot of money for those plans that would reduce my monthly payments.
